A Study of Banking Industry in Ludhiana City

Abstract
The present study aims at determining the antecedents ofOrganizational Citizenship Behaviour and to study thedeterminants of Organizational Citizenship Behaviour in bankingindustry of Ludhiana city. Primary data were collected fromrandomly selected bank employees in Ludhiana city through theuse of personally administered questionnaire. Impact of variousantecedents and determinants on OCB was tested using regressionanalysis. Altruism, conscientiousness and civic virtue are the keyantecedents of Organisational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) andjob satisfaction is found to be the most important determinant of OCB.
